My Name is Emily, and I Like Reality T.V.

Jon didn't so much approve of the implication that he "watches" Survivor. Because he wanted to clarify the situation and I was afraid that he would mention that I read the "Survivors Strike Back" blog every week, I thought it would be better if I were the one to set everyone straight. Jon only watches Survivor on a handful of nights because he is sitting next to me. Although he does occasionally participate in conversations about strategy for each player during commercials (because I won't let Jon talk during the show), I know he can't believe I am making him watch it, let alone talk about it. Other shows Jon watches by default of being a good (and neglected) husband include: America's Next Top Model, Beauty and the Geek, and the Biggest Loser. I have picked up the occasional Project Runway while I run at the gym, which I really like - maybe someday we'll get cable, although I'd probably never see the light of day if this were the case. For some reason, I haven't gotten into the Amazing Race, but I do think that, if we were to play, Jon and I would make a good team; I'm sure we could win.
